Audio Systems: Car antenna, nissan altima, car antenna

Question
I have a 1996 Nissan Altima and I just now got the radio to work.  My question is.  When I put in the blown fuse for my car the antenna went up and nothing was hooked up to in but the moment I hook it into my radio it goes back down. Any suggestions?

A  weird one this! three wires from antenna, 12v live, 12v radio signal and earth. 12v OUT from radio when switched on, it really is simple so what the heck your antenna is playing at I have no idea. Check it out by disconnecting all the electrical cables (co-ax is ok to stay connected)and do a local test by connecting live to the live feed and then 12v to the signal. it should work ok if not it could be a faulty relay in the antenna body. One I really need to have hands on, but..... I'm in Marbella, Spain
