Audio Systems: whats the problem, amp alternator, hardware problem

Question
I RECENTLY ADDED 2 6X9s AND 2 12s TO MY CAR
THE 6X9s HAVE ONE AMP
THE 2 12s HAVE ONE AMP
THE STEREO WORKS FINE UNLESS I TURN IT UP LOUD
THE SUBS STILL WORK FINE
IT'S THE 6x9s THEY SEEM TO BE ON BUT NOT AS HIGH AS THEY WERE BEFORE I'LL TURN IT DOWN AND THE HIGHS GO BACK TO NORMAL
I ADDED A CAPACITOR
COULD IT BE A WEAK BATTERY
I CHECKED THE ALTERNATOR AND IT WAS WORKING FINE
THE ONLY OTHER THING IS MAYBE GETTING A HIGHER AMP ALTERNATOR
THANKS

Answer
Unless you have a hardware problem, you probably just need to set the amplifier levels properly.
This could be a situation where the perceived mid/high loudness has 'changed' due to the subs getting so much louder.

The battery only runs the system when the ignition is off.

Since I have no idea what kind of amplifiers (make and model numbers) you are using, I cannot help you much more specifically on this.
