-----Question-----
i have a cd player, amp, and two 10inch subwoofers. if i can see it i can learn it. ex: i had a "professional" install my last cd player and 1 "10" inch woofer. and ever since then i have connected 3, they have all worked fine and never had any problems. this time i had everything working i had just installed it perfectly. but i wanted to try turn up the base on my amp. mind you i installed the wires to be very snug and out of sight. so i forgot to loosen the tension, i pulled the box (which has the 2 10's and the amp centered on the top of it) straight out so that i could fix the problem. thats when i disconnected something. the power went off of everything. the amp indication light was off and i saw inside that the head unit was off. so i started basic trouble shooting looking for disconnected wires. i found two i connected them and nothing came from it. i then disconnected my system so that i could just focus on my head unit and my four basic speakers. im am getting power to the head unit but it wont turn on. i can hit the eject button and the face plate will slight open and the cd will eject. as i said the head unit wasn't getting any power. i checked fuses. all good (to my knowledge i only know of 2 the one on the cd player and the one in the fuse box). i therefore thought i screwed the head unit up somehow but i disconnected it and reconnected the stock radio. same thing no power but eject button works. now i dont know what to do. it is out of my range of knowledge. please help me

Normally, I like questions with lots of info, but yours has me buffaloed. I think you need to bench test the CD player...

next statement..

but it's not the radio. i already said that i put the original back in and that one didn't work either. plus i connected the the radio straight to the battery and it turned on. my guess is it's internal wiring inside the car

Answer
What I'm saying is, test the signal coming out of the head unit, speaker and RCA levels. You say the original turns on, but is there any music coming out?  If both head units have no signal coming out you'll spend alot of time chasing your tail.
You can also use an ipod with a headphone to RCA adaptor cable fed right into your amp inputs to test that part of the system.
