Audio Systems: Adding Amp and Sub to standard Honda Stereo, single cd player, honda civic ex

I have a 2003 Honda Civic EX with a standard Honda stereo with single CD player. Do you know if I can hook up an amplifier and Subwoofer to this stereo?

Yes, you can do it.

IF:  The stock unit you now have does not have audio outputs on the back panel to feed an external amp you can add a converter that will take the speaker level out and scale it down for such purposes.  See;

There are other such products around that do similar or identical functions.

The running of the wires, fusing, porting of the subwoofer and such will be an important part of the installation.
