Audio Systems: powering up a DEH-1750 pioneer head unit, little fuse, pioneer head unit

im having trouble trying to get a new head unit to power up, i had just pilled out the factory head unit which still worksd if i plug it back in. ive checked the power with a multi meter, and the cars power is fine... any ideas?

Hi Nathen.
Probably got a wire crossed.(unless you have fried the little fuse next to the connector block on the back of the head unit!)

Below is pin out for ISO DIN which should still be (I hope) attached to your radio.

DIN connections  are.
Speakers

Right rear -,  right front -,   left front -,  left rear-,
Right rear +, Right front +, left front +, left rear +

Power block viewed from cable side

Phone mute (white),/   n/c, /      ariel & amp (blue), /ignition (red)

N/c, / 12vlive, (yellow or orange), / lights, (various colours),/ negative (black)


The third, usually top, block is for accessories such as cd changers
