Answer
For 2000 GM trucks, see this web site; down to the last 3 or 4 pages:

http://installdr.com/InstallDocs/GM/PDF/460029.pdf

http://installdr.com/Harnesses/GM-Wiring.pdf

Shows many GM wiring diagrams that may help.

Finally, if you go to www.crutchfield.com and put in the information for your vehicles you can buy a wiring harness for a few dollars.

Warning: Bose systems do not handle conventionally because of their non-confirming designs, so just go easy and be careful.

Many who have installed Bose systems find they must start from scratch; 1. they bench test the whole unit set up on a bench and tape the wires with tape so they know all the connecting wires. 2. they check all the speaker wires and tag them with location, plus and minus terminals.  3.  They remove or disconnect all power wires and run new ones to the battery and ignition as required.

Hoping this will help.
