Audio Systems: no sound from 1 speaker, safari van, dash radio

Question
I still have a chime with key in and as well as with the lights on. Could there be ground problem on my radio? Like I said earlier, If I run a straight ground from the speaker and ground it i.e firewall or column the speaker will work until I turn the key off and try to turn it back on .  If    I wait a few seconds and break the ground and reconnect it will work again until I turn it off and back on.. I am very confused!! Any help is greatly appreciated!!-------------------------

there is a module that makes the noise when the key is on the ignition or lights are on
this moise in some (some not al ) 1998 comes from the drivers door speaker that module is defective and needs to be replace is under the dash  radio and speaker are fine

Answer -
it is the chime warning module but before you replace that make sure that is the problem see if is working leave the lights on or the key on the ignition

REMOVE THE RADIO AND RUND A SPEAKER OUTSIDE CUT THE CABLES AND PLUG IT IN TO THE RADIO
