hey i have acura tl 02 and my stereo doen't work it says error1. the am/fm works fine only the cd part doesn't work. i cleaned it but still its not workin

Yes, they fail afterwhile. Common cause is weak or dead laser diode mounted inside the optical pickup head.  Also, the digital converter can fail, etc.

The cost of repair will most likely be prohibitive; you should think about replacing it, maybe.

If there is an external input on this model (some do; some don't) you can merely run your iPod or mp3 player into it.
