Audio Systems: Cracked Sub, How Do I Fix It?, polyvinyl acetate, polk momo

Question
I own 2 12' Polk Momo Subwoofers for my car. One of them is cracked, however, i know there is some kind of glue or adhesive, maybe, that will fix the speaker permanently in the cracked spot. Do you know what I could use to fix the crack and where i could buy it?

Thanks a lot, Mr. Lampi

Answer
I'm guessing the crack is in the cone and not a tear in the surround right?  If so, depends on how big the crack is,  the subs are under tremendous pressure and vibration.  also you cant create a severealy heavy spot or the material around it will fatigue as well.  my recomendation would be something called:

polyvinyl acetate

its actually the glue that probably holds the surround to the cone already, it probably also holds the rest of the moving parts togehter.  it's white but dries clear and is extreamly strong and remains flexable but stiff after drying.
you can find it in most craft stores and book binding places.
Good luck and please let me know how it goes!
