Audio Systems: 1998 mazda 626, mazda radio, bose system

Question
Hi Ernesto,

I hope hope hope that you can help!!!

I have the bose system in my 1998 mazda 626.. it is a bose-but factory.. anyway- Friday my tape player was working (the way I connect my ipod) and then on saturday it wasn't... the cd player is working and so is the radio... but the tape player- NOTHING.. no eject no power..dead... i checked the three audio system fuses and they seem to be okay... I am desperate to get my music back!!!!!
so two questions:
1) any ideas on what could be wrong with the tape player?
2)how can i hook my ipod into the system?..isn't there a way to wire it in or something?

thank you in advance for your time and i really appreciate any help/advice you can offer!!!

Answer
mazda radio don't have AUX input plug in the back
ALMOST ALL VEHICLES HAVE THAT AUX BUT NOT THE MAZDA THE TAPE IS BAD THE BELT OR MOTOR WHEN BAD AND NEEDS TO BE SERVICE
THE TAPE DECK IS MADE TO PLAY TAPES ONLY
NOT FOR THE  TAPE AUDIO PLUG THAT IS THE REASON WHY YOU HAVE THIS PROBLEM

THE OWNER MANUAL TELLS YOU THAT YOU CAN NOT USE 60 90 OR 120 MINUTES TAPES ONLY ORIGINAL 22 MINUTES PER SIDE

SORRY I CAN NOT HELP MORE

SORRY ABOUT CAPS DIDN'T NOTICE TILL NOW
