Audio Systems: No power, fuse boxes, electrical department

Hello,
     I am getting no power to my radio or to my amp and everthing is hooked up right what is wrong?

Check fuses in the car.  Usually there will be two fuse boxes; one under the hood and one inside under the dash between the steering column and the drivers door.  Try that.

Then, if no luck, you need to go to Walmart and purchase their $9.83 volt/ohm meter from the electrical department. Measure the voltages on the 12v line and see if you can find out where the disconnect is coming from.

If you get stumped, give me the make, model and year of the car and the make/model of the radio/amp.
