Audio Systems: installing subwoofers, bose amp, rca cables

I have a 1998 nissan maxima. I want to install subwoofers to my car and keep the stock bose head unit. I know youre suppose to connect the rca cables to the stock amp. But i cant find the amp in the car?

You would need a good quality line level converter to be hooked up at the outputs of the factory amplifier.  PAC makes a kit called the AOEM-NIS2. You can find it at their website. The whole kit should cost less than $80, but includes the ability to keep the Bose amp (should you want to), the Bose-to-line-level convertor, and a cable with (4) RCA outputs.
