Audio Systems: no sound out of speakers, cadillac seville, pioneer deh

I recently installed a pioneer deh-9800bt aftermarket head unit in my 1999 cadillac seville. I used a data bus interface to connect the head unit to the vehicle. I turned the car on and the radio came on but I don't get any sound out of the system. Is there something more I have to do in order to get the speakers to work?

It would depend on whether or not that is a Bose system.

For specifics on interfacing to a factory system, I would suggest talking to one of the online reps at www.crutchfield.com
They will be able to tell you exactly what is required for your vehicle (since they have the largest audio vehicle database on the globe).
