Audio Systems: Audio Suggestion, bandpass boxes, poor sound quality

Question
Hey, I have a a 1990 Thunderbird SC, I have a Pionner DEHP33 in it. I need some info on what kind of box and subs I want. Also I want to replace the stock speakers in the doors and rear panels to aftermarket speakers. I was think of buying some pioneer 6x8s for all 4 positions. How but a sub and box suggestion, should I get a band pass or just a square or slanted box. I was thinking of 2 10s or 12s in a bandpass but not sure what brand, watts, amp. I want something that is very very loud and tons of pounding bass, the kind that tickles your throat and forces you to stop breathing while in the car.

Basically what good amp subs wires cables and style box would be the best for my car.

Answer
well I cant really tell you what you'd like but I can tell you what different designes sound like and you can deside which is best for you.  as most things go in the world there are compromises to everything.
Bandpass boxes are extreamly loud but have extreamly poor sound quality so if you enjoy being vibrated and dont enjoy music then bandpass may be for you.  if you just want to be loud and dont care about the sound quality then I would sugest not changing the door speakers,  spend your money on the subs and amp.
there are alot better alternatives if you are willing to spend a little more time money and effort that can give you both volume and clarity.
why dont you give me a range for your budget and an idea of the music you like to listen to and wether you do have some desire for quality or if you just dont care about enjoying the music at all and just want it to be loud.
