Audio Systems: general, color cordination, homdepot

just wondering if you know what the stock wiring is on a 99 chevy silverado. which colors are negative in the front and rear speakers and which are posotive. i put aftermarket door speakers in but they sounds staticky. i was told it might be because the stock cd player is so underpowering to aftermarket spaekers but i think ive just got the stock wires mixed up on the aftermarket speakers. so please let me know if you know the color cordination of the stock wiring! thanks!

well I dont know what the colors are and I wasnt able to find it by gooling either but I do know how to find out what they are if you have a simple meter, if you dont have one get one at walmart or any auto shop or homdepot or lowwes.  I got mine for $18 and its more than adequate so you dont need to spend alot.  Once you get one let me know and I'll give step by step instructions.
The only way that underpower would cause static is when you turn it up.  if it's staticy at very low volume then something is wrong but if it's only staticy sounding when you crank it up then you need an amplifier and I can help you with that too.
