can i hook up 300 watt (150 true watts) tweeters to my factory amp....and how many watts is the factory amp........?

yes and no.  yes you can hook them up but its debatable weather they will sound right just being hooked up on top of the existing speakers.  the tweeters should come with a crossover or at least a filter capacitor on them to filter out damaging bass from harming the tweeter so make sure you have that on them.  If you simply wire each tweeter onto the Jeeps speakers they will work but you will have no control over how loud they are,  most likely they will be ear piercing.  If they are too loud you can get a thing called an L-Pad  (its basically a volume knob)  get it at www.partsexpress.com  this will allow you to turn them down to match the door speakers.  if they arent loud enough you will need to use an amplifier to boost them up but I think they will be too loud not too quiet.
