QuestionThe CD cartridge is stuck in the CD changer it will not automatically eject. How do I get the cartridge out. This CD changer is mounted in the trunk of an 1995 Olds Aurora which is radio control.
AnswerI really hate when I only have bad news. I can empathise with your frustration. Sorry, I don't have any experience with this product, and so I can't recommend anything specific - no "magical cure".
Often a DIY'er can try to remove the outer casing to get enough access to the internals to dislodge the CD Cartridge. YOu may have to brace yourself for the reality that, if the cartidge is stuck, something mechanical in the Changer has already failed and the whole unit needs to be replaced regardless.
Finding someplace willing to "service" this existing unit may be very difficult. You may want to consider just focusing on rescuing your precious CD's and then replacing the changer unit.
