Audio Systems: CDplayer installed now radio wont work, aerial adaptor, antenna wire

Hi there - i just put in a CD player into my car now the radio wont work do I need an aerial adaptor or something?

Adding a cd player to an existing unit should not change the operation of the radio.  (Did you plug in the antenna wire?)

If you installed a new head unit it must be compatible with the wiring of the car; usually it will come with a wiring harness that adapts it to your specific automobile.  

Did you install it yourself or was it done by a shop? If done by the retailer or a shop, please take it back to them immediately and have them fix it!

If you did it yourself, I must know the car model and year and the make and model of the cd player; then I can look up the wiring and conversions that may be necessary.
