whenever i turn the volume up high the sound starts to skip from all the speakers my setup is:

Back 6 x 9 Infinity Kappa 693.7i
Tweeter Kicker KS 20
mp3 player Pioneer DEH 4700
Amp is Kicker KX 200.2 75x2

Answer -
How is the amp wired?  Does it run all the door speakers or just the rear ones?
What type of head unit (cd player) do you have.  what is the year make model of the car?

i think just the rear speakers its a pioneer MEH4700 2001 camry

Answer
well if only the rear speakers make a skipping sound and they are the only speakers connected to an amplifier then i would say your problem lies in the amplifier.  It may not have sufficient power run to it so when there are extra demands it may make a sound like its shutting off which would sound alot like skipping. Either that or the crossover needs to be enabled or adjusted on it.  typical 6x9 speakers shouldnt be fed bass lowwer than 60hz so if there is a crossover built into this amp set it on highpass and the crossover point around 60hz  this should help.
You can also crank it up to where the skipping sound starts and look at your amp, there should be a light on it somewhere, I've never seen an amp that didnt at least have a green LED for a power light.  if it's dimming to the beat then you have a power problem, increase wire thickeness to your battery, increase the fuse, check your ground. etc.
Let me know what you find!
Good luck!
