Audio Systems: water damage, sony cd player, power sunroof

My sunroof was accidentally left open during a rainstorm and the Sony cd player/radio/MP3 player I have installed in my VW Passat got wet and no longer works using the buttons on the unit. I can get it to work on a limited basis using the remote. Is this something that can be repaired or do I need a new system installed?

Replace it. the Water damage is growing as we speak. The corrosion will continue to eat at the circut boards and internal parts. Consider having a power sunroof controller installed so when you arm the car alarm it automatically closes the roof and/or windows too. Viper makes a good module for this.
