Audio Systems: Camaro radio wiring, camaro z28, digital voltmeter

Question
I have a 1994 Camaro Z28 that came with the Bose 3 speaker system.  I have replaced the two door speakers and put 2 new speakers in the backseat as well as run new wiring from the head unit to the back speakers.  The door speakers have bypassed the on speaker amp but there is still another amp in the car that messes up the sound to only the front speakers.  I need to run new wiring from the head unit to the front speakers but I would like to just use the same wire that runs through the door and just splice into radio to bypass the main amp.  Where can I find these wired as they come into the car but before giong the the amp.

Thanks, Lance

Answer
Good Plan, get rid of all the OEM amps and speakers. To test what wires you need, remove the front speaker/amp combos, and get a digital voltmeter. You will want to find the ground and power (when radio is on) wires and tape them off. That should leave 2 "signal " wires that you can now use as simple speaker wires. If you run into problems, just run new speaker wires. It's not that tough. Until they find a way to prevent us running wires to speakers, they will never prevent us from adding our own stereos, MU-HAHAHAHA...8-)
