6-disc CD changer has power, accepts cartridge, and checks for CD (you can hear it going through the cartridge). But, despite having a CD loaded, the CD player indicates "no disc". Can you help, please? Thanks in advance, Jeff

I think you are talking about the factory system?  I dont answer questions for factory systems.  BUT... in this case the answer is the same for aftermarket so.  I would guess that the laser is dirty.  you can try a cd cleaning kit, if that doesnt help I would take it apart and clean the lens on the laser with a cutetip that has a small amount of rubbing alcohol on it.
