Audio Systems: Jeep Infinity Gold Cassette/Radio, jeep grand cherokee, infinity gold

Question
I have a 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee that came with an Infinity Gold cassette radio with 5 band equalizer.  A few months ago 3 of the 4 speakers quit working, or work intermitently.  I discovered that by applying pressure to the lower right corner of the radio face all 4 speakers will work, but only for a short time or until additional pressure is applied.  About 3 weeks ago the right rear speaker started making static/electrical contact noise, but is not constant.  The right front speaker works all the time.  Is there an easy fix without replacing the radio?  If I need to replace the radio can I replace it with a later Infinity radio/CD deck with the existing connectors?

Answer
" Is there an easy fix without replacing the radio? "
No there is not. The fader balance contro is shot.

"If I need to replace the radio can I replace it with a later Infinity radio/CD deck with the existing connectors?"
Yes, but an aftermarket deck will be cheaper, work better, and you can still have your steering wheel controls if you get an interface from PIE.
