Audio Systems: ford escort aftermarket stereo removal, wirenuts, aftermarket stereo

Question
I had a stereo installed in my ford escort and now i want to take it out.  I got the actual stereo out of the sleeve, but there are a bunch of different cords  attached and I don't know which ones to disconnect.  There are two plastic pieces that attach the cords that I unplugged but one of them has two red wires coming from inside the car and a lot of the wires are attached with little caps on them.  Is that what I need to take apart?

Answer
the 2 plastic plugs should release from eachother. the little caps are wirenuts that connect the cd player's wires to the wiring harness kit that was purchased to fit onto the orriginal harness.  when you are done the only thing that should be in the car is a large plug and a small black plug (antenna)
Hope this helps, if not let me know.
