Question -
How do you wire two 10" sony subs to a Dual cd player? Like what wire do I use and do I need a amp? the cd player is a Dual XDM6820 and two 10" 320 watts at crutchfield for more information

Sincerly,
Brandon

Answer -
you need an amp. you absolutly cannot run subs directly off the cd player with no amp. sounddomain.com is having some fantastic deals on Rockford amps. something like this:

Should run 2 10s with athourity BUT you need to make sure the ohms are right first.  what is the exact model of the sony 10s?  are they single voice coil or dual voice coil? and how many ohms each?

Answer
I was really hoping you could send the model number so I wouldnt have to guess but it seems like its this model:

This is not a Dual voice coil, they're just 4 ohms each.

I would recomend this amp to run these nicely:

http://www.cardomain.com/item/ROCP6001BD

It puts out 600 watts into 2 ohms which is what 2x 4 ohm speakers would be.

If you want a cheaper one this one would work well but the fosgate is a much better amp:

Good luck!
