Audio Systems: Radio Wiring on a 96 town & country, alpine cda 9825, electric antenna

I have  96' T&C van with the Infinity sound system 8 speakers & amp. My factory deck had a clip with two wires into the back. I've installed an alpine cda 9825 into the vehicle. The radoi plays and the amp works but when i play cd's no amp. Only the 4 puny spaekrs give me sound. The 2 wires i was talking about aren't hooked up? Can you help. I want full power when i listen 2 a cd! thank you.

hi the two extra wires are for the stering controls  don't use them you installation is good the only thing you miss is that when the radio is off and the cd is playing the radio closes the electric antenna so there is no power on the blue cable
that is the cable you are using to turn on the amplfier
when you play a cd the amplifiers are off  some head units have two blue wires or just connect that to the ignition
i believe that is a white wire
