Audio Systems: box dimensions for Mofo 15, port diameter, poweracoustic

Question
I have a 2001 2door Ford Explorer and have purchased 2 PowerAcoustic Mofo 15" subs.I need to know what kind of and size box to get so as to get the most out of the subs.I am running a Directed 2400w 1ch.amp to each(not that it matters). As far as I've heard it should have 2 4"ports and be 3.4cu.ft.Is that 3.4cu.ft.per sub or what?Would really appreciate any info you could give me.Thank you very much,Ezra B.

Answer
that thing is going to pound!  I have a mofo 15 in my jetta and it's nuts!  most people make fun of power acoustik cuz they're inexpensive but they have the most bang for the buck.  there's  better stuff out there but you'd have to spend double to get near the quality of the mofo.
ANYWAY!!
There's a very delicate balance between sub, box size, port diameter and port length.  all need to be perfect to get the perfect sound.
Fist I would like to know what your intensions are with the system.  do you want it to be musical where you can enjoy music and if so what kinds of music.  or do you just want it as loud as possible but have horrible musical quality?  These subs can do either but the box is what determines it.
Those amps look like a near perfect match for these subs too except for one little part.  their subsonic filter is very high at 30 hz.  it would be better to have them down around 20 depending on your application but we'll deal with that when the time comes.
please answer my questions on music vs volume prefrences and we'll get started.  also let me know if you are planing on chaning the factory head unit to aftermarket like alpine or kenwood or whoever, you will really need to but I'm sure you're aware of this.  and let me know if you plan on changing door speakers and putting amps on them as well. and what your box building experience is.
Thanks!
