Audio Systems: Error Code, cd magazine, ford expedition

Hi,

The CD player in my 1998 Ford Expedition stopped working. I am getting an error code "NO CD". I can hear the changer changing the CD's, but they will not play.

I replaced the cd changer with a remanufactured one, but I still get the same error message.

Any thoughts?

wow you have 2 bad cd changers both of them have a death laser or not pointing to the right direction
when you load the cd magazine the cd changer takes the disc, to reads it and then put it back on the cd magazine and takes the next disc, and reads that and send it back to the magazine the problem is it can not read any cd and believes the cd magazine is empty  after it checks all 6 slots it will give you the error no disc or no cd  
stay away from remanufacture cd changer  buy a new one
