Audio Systems: Kenwood krc 207s cd changer, kenwood krc, positive cable

Question
When I tried to play a disc I got error 99. I think I've put the cds in upside down and  now I can't get the magazine to come out when I hit the eject button. How can I get it out?

It would come out under normal circumstances; perhaps it is jammed in the tray.

Here is what you should do:

ONE:  Pull the power to the unit for at least 30 minutes.  If you don't know how do do this, lift the positive cable on the battery for 30 minutes.

TWO:  When you power it back up, press play and eject at the same time.

THREE:  If it does no clear you may have to pull the unit from the dash, take off the top cover and peer inside for jams or disc being off center.

In the worst case you may have to run it into the local install/repair shop.  They will know how to remove the disc easily.
