Audio Systems: removal of OEM stereo 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix, grand prix gtp, pontiac grand prix gtp

Question
I am planning to put in a wired FM modulator to play my MP3 player through my stock stereo.  2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP with stock Bose system.  If i dont need to totally remove the HU, that would be ideal.  I believe that the antenna is integrated into the back windshield.  is there a way to do this without too much hassle?  i also have On-Star with an external antenna, can i hook up the modulator through there?  is there a better way?  i have tried several wireless FM modulators, and have been less than happy with the sound results.

Answer
hi
stay away from fm modulator you can spend about $100.00 for the best unit and you will have the same problems
the right way to do this is by using a AUX interface THIS DEVICES PLUG IN TO THE BACK OF THE RADIO AND THE AUDIO IS DIGITAL QUALITY
