Audio Systems: sound loss, poor circulation, pc fan

hi, well the problem im having is that when im driving listening to my audiobahn a150 it has been working properly for about 6 or 7 months. latley i have been having problems with the sound cutting off completly. u can change it to radio and still have no sound. after about 15 minutes the sound will come back on and itll play for about 2 hours. then it will do it agian. i checked to see if my wires were burned out but they seem all fine. im confused on what the problem might b. thanx for the help if any is given

Probably overheating. Is it when it's being played loud?
The little amp inside generates lots of heat, and some vehicles are prone to have poor circulation behind the radio.
Adding external amps is one solution, but so is getting a more powerful deck, perhaps with an internal cooling fan. You might be able to install a small PC fan, but that may not be enough.
