please give me a little help. when i had stereo equipment in my truck in the late 80's early 90s i found the bigger the sealed box the harder it hit.now i am restoring a old suburban and trying to deal with air space is totaly different i own a punch t3002 highs , t5002 lows , 2 punch p212s4 built big sealed box "no good sound" built 2 more boxes 1 sealed to woofer specs 1 ported to woofer specs still cannot get low base . i really love low base. please give me some ideas. i have the following space 48" wide, 24"deep, 30" tall. please help me. thanks

These P212s4's, are small enclosure speakers.
That is, they are not intended for large boxes [or the large volumes of air space in vehicles that often comes with the ability to have a large box in the first place].
This is a normal shortcoming of small enclosure speakers. Many trade-offs are needed to sell them at that price.

In short, no matter how you have them wired, you are using the wrong speakers for subs in a large suv.

It IS a lot of space to fill but as you probably know, there are advantages in that long suv for attaining great lows.

I have done Suburbans as well as very old 1967-71 3-door Carry-All versions.
You have the amps to do it.
