Audio Systems: car cd player error, pioneer cd players, car cd player

i have a 1997 pontiac grand am and the factory cd player pulls the disc in but when it tries to read the disc it pushes it back out and says error 20. do you have any idea whats wrong and if its fixable?trk4t

Time to replace with aftermarket. It's 9 years old, and has served it's time. You could easily spend more then a new CD player trying to fix this old one. Try a cleaning disc from Radio Shack, and if that does not work, pitch it in favor of a new one. Wal-Mart sells Pioneer CD players for $100 here in Canada. Lots of aftermarket places have cheap CD units for 149 installed, plus parts. Great value.
