Audio Systems: Back lighting on a Bose car stereo, nissan maxima se, nissan maxima

Question
Hi,

I have a '95 Nissan Maxima SE with a stock Bose stereo.  It seems that a back-light bulb (or two?) on the left-hand side of the unit is burned out as I cannot see some of the buttons at night (I can see the rest of the buttons just fine).  Is there a relatively easy fix for this?  Is it something that I might be able to do on my own?  Thanks for your help!

Answer
Hi Davis!
I don't think it's an easy project unless you have some skills with electronics and soldering, the disassemble is pretty easy once you have the radio out of the car just two screws on the sides and some pressure clips but the thing is that the bulbs are the tiny ones that are soldered on the board (in the face board) wich means that you need to remove the board from the face, if you think that you can attempt it go ahead, just be carefull to not dropping the plastic button covers, believe me even if you have look at your radio one million of times you will not remember wich the AM/FM and wich the TAPE buttons are!
