Audio Systems: Sony CDX-616 10 disc changer, sony cdx 616, sony radio

I have a sony cdx-616 cd 10 disc changer from my previous car which was in a crash and wrote off, how can I remove my CD's from the changer with no power to the unit.  My new car and my wifes all have facia mounted stereos so I don't want to remove the dashboard for this.

The easiest way to remove the CD cartridge without destroying either the CD player or the CDs would be to hook everithing outside of the car, that is to connect the CD changer to a Sony radio and push the eject button, Sonys are especially hard because they don't have a separate power connector everithing is on the "bus" (round plug).
