Audio Systems: Car Radio - Functions not working, factory radio, detail shop

Question
I have a 2001 BMW convertible and recently had the interior detailed. They appear to have sprayed water or something else on the radio while cleaning the dashboard and now, absolutely no functions work except for the one station that was playing at the time of the cleaning (and volume).  It does not turn on and off, does not change to AM, does not change to CD, and you cannot change the channels.  The only thing that works is volume on the one station.

I checked the fuses (there are two) and they seem ok.  I have 105,000 miles on it and have never had any problems with the audio.  It is a BMW Business/Harmon Kardon system.

Answer
You might look for a recessed 'reset' button on the headunit. It is probably your last resort b4 replacing the headunit.
Go to www.crutchfield.com for more info on upgrading your H/K headunit. They have online CSR's to help you get the correct parts.

*You should complain to the detail shop.

If there were a silver lining to this, it would be that a 2001 factory radio (premium or not) is about finished with its' life, anyhow.
