Audio Systems: Infinity 6 disc CD Player Malfunction, dash infinity, electro mechanical devices

I have a 2003 Dodge Durango with a factory in-dash Infinity 6 disc cd player.  The problem is that it will now only play disc 1.  When I try to play discs 2 -6, I can hear the unit clicking like its trying to cycle through but it wont play them.  The other thing is that I can't eject any of the 6 discs.  Again, I hear the clicking noises but no cigar.
There are no error codes displayed.  Any advise that you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

All too common for electro-mechanical devices.
The simpler, the better.
You can replace that unit with an indash single player CD that allows MP3 which will let you have up to 256 tunes on one cd (for under 120.00). It is possible to still use your steering wheel volume controls ect if you get one that has a wireless remote control.
