Audio Systems: acura car radio, acura car, acura dealer

Question
Hi, my car was left with the lights on, and wouldn't start. We bought a new battery for it, but now the radio doesn't work, and a couple other things don't work, like the clock, and rear defrost. My boyfriend didn't know what he was doing, and basically ripped my radio out, and now the wires are all loose, and I was wondering how my radio could be fixed, and do you have an estimate on how much it would cost? my car is a 1989 acura legend

Answer
Sounds like an Acura issue more than a stereo one.
All ripouts aside, it can all be repaired for a price, of course, but I would get in touch with the local Acura dealer and ask them what a dead battery would cause on that model.
These things not working should be fully explainable by them.

*I might add that this stereo may be MUCH cheaper to replace than to repair/reinstall.
Ask a local stereo shop to take a look for more specific information.
