Answer
Mike,

this is a common problem with lower end amps but fusion should have the feature called "soft turn on" which is built in to help minimize the hard hit... you might also want to make sure you are using a good quality set of RCA cables and same for your speaker power, turn on , and ground wires make sure your using a good gauge of wire depending on your wattage most amps over 600 watts recommend an 8 gauge but prefer a 4 which is pretty heavy cable but its always better to have more than less... you also can check at your local radio shack , circuit city ect.. for a box that you can wire in to get rid of distortion and help clean everything up just talk to them about what you are needing and they should have some in stock ... hope this helps you out

thanks
