Audio Systems: 97 J30 Infintity CD Err?, infinity customer, radio unit

I love my Bose sounds. I put in a burnted CD in, it played for a while, then stop playing, now my CD reads "CD Err", how can solve the problem? Without going to an authorized dealer?  I can't play anything CD's now.

alot of factory units will simply not play burnt cd's .. try useing an original CD to see if you still get the error... if you still do reset the entire car by disconnecting your battery for about 15 minutes.. make sure that your security function on your radio unit is disabled before disconnecting... if the reset doesnt work sadly enough you will most likly end up at an audio repair shop or dealer, but you might try calling the infinity customer service line to ask them a few questions before you break down and pay the cost... hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know
