Audio Systems: No Picture--My Answer to your questions, pioneer elite, warrenton virginia

Question     My TV is a Pioneer Elite Manufactured in 1996.
S/N QA3604113L

I have suddenly lost all picture. It was operating normally and one day when I went to turn it on, no picture. All connections are normal. The "on" light is on. Sound works through a receiver and so I can tell that channel change operates normally from my satellite dish.

I would prefer to have someone else do the repairs but have been unseccessful in finding anyone in my area (Warrenton Virginia-near Manassas VA) who is in this business. I would also be willing to try simple repairs myself. Can you help?

I've had success with Tele-Fix, 695 Spring St. in Herndon. 703/471-7899. There's an outfit in Sterling, Hi-Tech TV, which will make house calls ($40 minimum to Warrenton); www.hi-techtv.com, 703/430-0552; although I have no experience with them.
