Audio Systems: Need for car audio amp?, resonable level, audio amp

Question
Dear Expert,

Resently bought a new headunit (Pioneer DEH-4700MP)
and two pairs of new speakers (Pioneer TS-G1748)
for my Golf IV, 2002 model.
I was just wondering if the built in amplifer in the headunit (MOSFET 50Wx4) would be enough to power these speakers at a "resonable level." Obviously if I want to get the full potential of it I would need an amp, but I'm a little bit short on cash at the moment.
So I was wondering if I would get decent sound out of just the built in amp in the headunit, until I can afford a proper amplifier.

Lastly, if you have a chance to answer me on this, what kind of amp would you recommend for my setup? Like the wattage, price($100-200) and all the other technical information.

Thank you for answering my question :)

Sincerly,

Phil

Answer
Phil,

sorry its been a few but got struck by the flu... anyway.. your amp supplied will do your new speakers pretty good and unless you add another set or 2 you wouldnt need to really upgrade to a larger aftermarket amp for the component speakers... now if you do go larger more HQ larger watt ratings .. that is when you have to pay attention to your speakers rated ohms and RMS wattage ratings to buy an amp to fit your speakers needs along with what you want for sound.... a great amp for component speakers can be easly purchased for under 200 dollars so no worries there ... hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know

thanks
