Audio Systems: Honda Civic Radio Removal, stereo shop, honda civic

Question
I disconnected the battery in my 99 Civic EX to clear a check engine light, and now my stereo is asking for a code. The dealer says to remove the radio and get the numbers on it, at which point he can give me the code. My question is, how do I pull this thing out?

Thanks, Mike

Answer

If you do not know how to get it out, I would suggest letting the dealer do it, or take it to a stereo shop for removal and replacement (to get the #'s off of it).

*I am pretty sure that the code should be with the owners manual kit if you have it.
