Audio Systems: Speaker Switch Question, speaker switch, speaker selector

Question
I have a 6 speaker surround sound system.  I ran one of the speakers to another room so that I can listen to music in this other room.

It's wired directly to the player and i was wondering how i can hook up a switch to turn ONLY this speaker on and off?  Can you give me a few ideas how I can wire in a switch so that I can turn this speaker on and off?

What do I need to do this?  Please reply, thanks!

Answer
the only way you can do it without damaging any equipment is go to rat shak (radio shack) and get their speaker selector box. this will allow you to hook up more speakers if you so desire. to control the volume seperately pick up whats called an 'l pad', a control that allows you to change volume without affecting anything else. if you run 2 speakers to the other room, be sure to get a stereo l pad.
