Audio Systems: 1992 town car radio wiring harnesses, car radio wiring, crutchfield

I have a 1992 town car and my son-in-law bought an audiovox av427 and matching cd changer for father's day. his intentions were good however finding the harnesses for this match has not been easy. looked on crutchfield and what they offer does not look at all like what is in car. do you have any idea how to overcome this? I realize I can take it to have it installed but I would like to give the kid a chance. Can not find wiring diagrams nor matching harnesses anywhere. Any suggestions?

Honestly I would use Google and try to find a harness, or you could call Audiovox and ask them what kind of harness to look for. It might be something that people don't normally offer, or it might be something you have to order from Audiovox specifically. Sorry I couldn't be of more use, but those are the steps that I would take if I was in your position.
