Audio Systems: Kenwood flip-face car stereo problem, ribbon cable, loud volume

I have a Kenwood flip-face car stereo that is broken.  It still flips open and closed, but once the car is on and it is in the open position, none of the buttons work and it no longer lights up.  There is a cd stuck inside of it as well, so I am forced to listen to the same cd over and over at the same loud volume, because the volume button doesn't work.  This is driving me insane!  I can't figure out how to eject the cd and/or fix this problem.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!

The problem is most likely due to a defective ribbon cable. This is a very common problem with these units. If you email by direct email with the complete model number I will see if I have a replacemant cable in stock.
