Hi, the Infinity stereo(8 speaker, 4cd disc player, 3 band eq.) in my van is not working at all, no display for the clock either when the radio is off.  If I disconnect the battery it may work again briefly until the radio is turned on, but then it will "lock up" with no sound, none of buttons or knobs functioning and it displays what was last displaying(ie: radio station) for a short while and then go blank. Strange.

I also should point out it will drain the battery overnight (I have taken the unit out of the van to prevent this).

Dave,
The processor controlled voltage regulator is failing and will need to be replaced. When the voltage regulator fails it will keep the stereo at a constant on state and it will cause the battery to drain down.
