Audio Systems: truck stereo - only static - no display, chevy s10, radio cassette player

Question
I own a 1992 Chevy S10 that has the factory stereo in it. The truck has been parked for several months while I was doing repairs to it. When I parked it, the radio/cassette player worked just fine. Now that I have the truck running again, the radio will not work. When I turn on the power to the radio, all I hear is static and there are no lights or numbers on the display (channel info/time). Is there a way to fix or reprogram it or do I need to replace it?

Answer
Angie,
If you pull the stereo out of the dash and give me all the numbers off the stereo I will look over the service info for it. The problem may be due to the memory wire for the clock/station power.
