Audio Systems: Radio works, CD=No sound, alpine stereos, alpine cde 9843

I installed an Alpine CDE-9843 in my '99 Durango. Everything gets power in the HU and the radio works fine. The CD player gets power and shows the CD playing but no sound.

On some Alpine stereos they will have a switch on the bottom side of the stereo that controls the AUX in/outputs. Move this switch to the other position if your stereo has one. Before you move the switch make sure that the stereo is OFF. Also look over the owners manual for more info about the switch if your stereo uses this switch.
