Audio Systems: 1998 Buick Regal Source Jacks, radio cassette player, buick regal

Question
I recently purchased a used 1998 Buick Regal with the factory-installed radio/cassette player.  I noticed on the steering wheel controls and the radio itself there is a button labeled "Source".  Pushing the button has no effect.  This leads me to believe that there are jacks in the rear of the radio to hook up an external unit (ie. CD Player).  Is this the case?  And if it is, how would I gain access behind the dash to hook into it?

Thanks!

Answer
Shane,
The stereo may have an external input for a CD changer. There are several after market CD changers that will work with most factory stereos with changer controls. Take a close up look at you stereo to see if it has changer control buttons on it. To remove the stereo from the dash you may have to take out several screws. On some vehicles the trim around the stereo will snap/pull away from the dash to gain access to the screws holding the stereo into the dash.
